Restorative Aerial Yoga for Anxiety and Depression is a series that will up-lift your mood and help you to manage these feelings that can be so overwhelming through one of the most depressing months of the year, January. After the holidays we can sometimes get into a slump as we feel the long effects of the winter closing in on us. Join Rachel for this 4-week series that is designed to turn those negative feelings around and give you peace of mind and heart. Asana practice in general helps counteract anxiety-driven depression because it reduces stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, inducing what's known as the relaxation response. Through the use of the silk hammock and comforting long held supported restorative poses, the relaxation response will be triggered, allowing for the release of these stressful emotions. Essential Oil therapy and sound healing is added to this weekly class to further elicit a deep release into feel good emotions. Cost for this series is $100 by December 29th and $125 there after. Class is 90 minutes long and held from 12:30-2pm every Sunday in our Bartlett location. Reserve your spot ASAP as there are only 7 available for this series.
