This 4 course series is offered to all who wish to delve deeper into understanding anatomy for yoga. These courses are also perfect for teachers, and provide 2 hours of CEU's per course, or 8 total for the whole series.
Cost for these anatomy courses are $30 each or $100 when purchased as a course. Pre-registration is required.

Anatomy Course dates (always followed by SMFR workshop 4-6pm, see below):

May 25- Shoulders with Lisa
June 1- Hips with Rachel
June 22-Lower limbs and feet with Rachel
July 13- Spine and Torso with Lisa
Each course runs from 2-4 pm and is followed directly by a Myofacial Release and Yoga workshop from 4-6. This offering applies the knowledge from the anatomy course, and adds a very practical and useful layer of therapeutic techniques for yoga teachers and practitioners, using various tools for Self Myofacial Release and safely increasing range of motion. This combination of classes of both very effective, but also offers teachers additional tools for teachers who want to help their students to deepen their practice, heal soft tissue injuries, and create overall relief and mobility in the body.
Lisa is a 500hr E-RYT and NASM-CPT, WLS, CES, who has studied, practiced and taught yoga, physical fitness coaching, anatomy and more for over 10 years. She is very enthusiastic about anatomy and how it applies to yoga. Her delivery and teaching style is precise and clear, while creatively connecting the information for her students to grasp thoroughly.
Rachel is a 500hr RYT and licensed massage therapist. She assists in YTT courses and has been teaching for over 5 years, massaging for over 10. Her wealth of knowledge for anatomy and yoga stems from her deep understanding through many years of study, practice, teaching and massage. Her delivery is dynamic and direct.
