We are approaching a very important month, and an important New Moon. Each new moon offers us the chance to review our intentions, check in with our progress with them, let go of energies and intentions that have come to completion, and to focus in on revamping our personal intentions for the bigger life picture we are trying to create with ourselves.
For the entire month of March we will have Mercury in retrograde. This can be a very trying time, as Mercury likes to shake things up, challenge our way of thinking, which is always a good thing, but if we are not grounded and balanced, we are very susceptible to falling back on poor habit patterns to soothe ourselves. This energy is very immense, and often lays the groundwork for new and wonderful things to enter into our lives, as long as we understand how to work with the energy.
This event is offered to our friends as an opportunity to:
-Revisit our winter equinox intentions and recommit to what still holds true to our goals
-Clear out any energy that has followed us or worked its way into our thinking, that may be sabotaging or creating stagnance
-Balance our bodies and minds, so that we can best manage potential times of challenge.
After a smudging and clearing community arrival, we will all enjoy a mindfully guided through a restorative practice geared to releasing those pesky spots that just get "stuck". These points in the body can be a housing area for negative or stagnant energy to take residence in, often making us feel lethargic, disinterested, unmotivated and irritable.
Followed by our practice, we will enjoy an extended stay in savasana or restorative pose of your choice, while the singing bowls are played for you. These special crystal bowls bring high vibrational balance into the body.
Once we have done the work to open our physical channels and raise the frequency through the singing bowls, we will enjoy a yoga nidra. In the state of relaxation and high vibration that we will be in, yoga nidra will work to "awaken" the body through the living and ever present mind within the body through gentle and loving awareness.
You can expect to leave feeling refreshed and aligned with your goals and purpose.
Please arrive 10 minutes early. As will most of our ceremonies, we do set the tone by smudging all participants before they enter, to keep the space sacred and clear.
