KULA IN PRACTICE 

A community donation and practice to support the homeless 


Community is defined as people of a district or country considered collectively, especially in the context of social values and responsibilities.  Step into your role of supporting your community by attending this special donation based trauma sensitive yoga class.  This is open to those with or without knowledge or experience with yoga. This practice is suitable for any age or ability.  
Following class we will come together and create care packages for the homeless. There are 3 ways to support our homeless • drop off donation items for care packages at Bloom Wellness 1020 Cedar Ave suite 230 • cash donations (drop off at Bloom, St. Charles)• attend practice and build care packages You choose to either donate your care packages to the center of your choice or hand deliver them to the homeless as you see necessary.
Items to consider for care packages: •Gloves •Scarfs •Handwarmers •Socks •Hygiene items (toothpaste/ toothbrush) •First aid items •Shelf stable food that requires no cooking or tools to open (bagged tuna/peanut butter/ fruit cups/ applesauce packs/ granola bars/ crackers/ ect •Oranges •Water •Spaceblanket 
Class is open to all Cash donations excepted to support Lazarus House in St. Charles.  Sunday January 27 1:00-3:00pm
